10 Reindeer Games Perfect For Your Christmas Party
1. “What Did Rudolph Eat?!” Christmas Game
Supplies: 3-5 different kinds of chocolate bars. I used the Hershey’s Miniatures variety pack, but this game is great for using leftover Halloween candy if you have it.
How to Play: First, melt your chocolate bars in 30-second increments until they are completely melted. (I used a toothpick to reshape the chocolate to look more like poop after it melted.) Write or say to your group “What did Rudulph eat?!” Then, have guests guess what the “poop” really is. It’s an easy, silly game that guarantees giggles!
2. Hoofin’ for Marshmallows
Supplies: Marshmallows, bowls, plastic cups
How To Play: Each player covers both hands with a plastic cup. Then use the cups like reindeer hooves to pick up as many marshmallows as possible and move them into the bowl.
We played this game with large marshmallows and mini marshmallows for a challenge.
5. Rudolph’s Nose Bounce
Supplies: Red pom poms, string, balloons
How to Play: Blow up one or more balloons. Next, glue a red pom pom onto a string. Wrap the string around each player’s head so that it looks like they have a red “Rudolph” nose.
Then, players must keep their balloon in the air using only their Rudolph nose. Keep track of how many nose bounces they get before it hits the ground. The player who keeps it up the longest wins!
3. Rudolph’s Nose Dive
Supplies: Red pom poms, Vaseline, free printable Rudolph (or draw a circle on a blank page for players to put the pom poms into)
How to Play: Dab each player’s nose with vaseline. Then, instead of Santa’s beard like in the picture, they must use only their nose to transfer the red pom poms onto the free Rudolph printable or inside a circle drawn on a piece of paper. Players fill it up as much as they can in one minute!
Pro Tip: Dab some Vaseline on Rudolph to help younger kids make a smoother transfer.
6. Red-Nose Swing Shot
Supplies: Vaseline, red pom poms (or cotton balls in a pinch), string
How To Play: Tie a red pom pom to the end of a string. Place Vaseline on each player’s nose.
The player starts with the other end of the string in their mouth. They then have one minute to attempt to swing the string and land the pom pom (or cotton ball) onto their nose and stick there. No hands are allowed! The longer the string, the harder the challenge!

7. Ring in the Reindeer
Supplies: The Reindeer Ring Toss Game
How to Play: This game comes in two sets, so you can split your Christmas party or family gathering into two teams to play. Set a timer and see who can get the most rings on the antlers in the time. Or skip the timer and go until the first team gets them all.
This game is so playful and interactive that even the biggest Grinches can’t resist it. It’s great for all ages to get involved!
8. Reindeer Toss Variation
Supplies: The Ring Toss ring game, red pom poms
How to play: It’s simple! Have one person hold up a ring and another person try to throw as many red pom poms as possible through it in 60 seconds. The team with the most through wins!
Pro tip: Make this game easier and harder by adjusting the distance away from the ring.

Supplies: 5 Second Rule Christmas Questions
How to Play: Turn this popular game into a reindeer edition! In this game, you must name 3 things in the category within 5 seconds. Here are fun ones to do for reindeer:
- Name 3 of Santa’s reindeer
- Name 3 animals faster than a reindeer
- Name 3 foods a reindeer might eat
- Name 3 songs that mention reindeer
- Name 3 ways reindeer help Santa
- Name 3 words that rhyme with “deer”
- Name 3 places a reindeer wouldn’t want to live
- Name 3 things you’d see on Santa’s sleigh besides reindeer
- Name 3 Christmas movies or shows that feature reindeer
9. Rudolph’s Nose Shovel
Supplies: Red pom poms or cotton balls, plastic spoons, bowls
How To Play: Each player needs two bowls and a spoon. One bowl needs to be filled with red pom poms. When time starts, players have one minute to transfer the pom poms into the empty bowl with only the plastic spoon in their mouth.
