You’ll Never Regret Raising Kind & Compassionate Kids ⬇️
Teaching kindness isn’t always easy. I once had my kids leave a thank you letter to the mailman, only to watch them fight about who got to put it in the mailbox 🤦♀️). But one of my core beliefs is that we’re here to try to make the world a better place – and to teach our kids to do the same.

And happy Thankful Thursday!
This week, I’m thankful for…
- I mentioned it in Monday’s newsletter, but I’m so grateful for the workers at the airport who showed up without getting paid so that I could return home to my family on Saturday. I would be stranded if not for their kindness.
- The team of amazing women who make the website and newsletter a reality. We’ve created content for almost 7 years, and while entrepreneurship is sometimes a bumpy ride, I’m so grateful to be side by side with them in it.
- Exploration. I got the opportunity to explore Boston last week, and it’s just so beautiful. I came back to Kansas City feeling invigorated. If you haven’t seen a new place in a while, I highly recommend it (even if it’s just in your hometown)

Today is 🌎 World Kindness Day
Today’s a beautiful reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be big to make a difference.
A smile, a compliment, or a helping hand can ripple farther than you know. Let’s make the world a little brighter, one kind act at a time.
🦋 Haha: Like drinking too much coffee
🦋 Feel Good: Watch this kindness read-aloud with your kids.
🦋 Useful: My new nicer flats when you need to dress up.*
🦋 Stay inspired: A Miami man has cleared over 35,000 pounds of trash
