Bhaskaran

by

tragedy

her
search

missing

Meanwhile,
Gautham

police
driver

drawn
in

into
the
plot

wasting
time,
and
the
narrative
is
build
on
the
twists
and
turns
that
are
thrown
into
it
quite
often.
But,
the
effective
writing
and
worldbuilding
is
enough
to
keep
the
audiences
in
the
edge
of
their
seats.
Bhaskaran
is
an
ordinary
man
who
gets
entangled
in
a
heinous
crime
unexpectedly.
Gautham,
on
the
other
hand,
is
a
failed
police
man
who
wants
to
prove
himself.
The
anguish
of
both
these
men
are
conveyed
very
effectively,
that
the
viewers
will
be
able
to
connect
with
them
and
root
for
them,
even
when
they
are
“morally”
wrong.
The
character
arcs,
and
the
slow-burn
nature
of
the
narrative
also
help
in
making
the
storytelling
and
its
ending,
more
effective.

Kuttram

is
hit
by
predictability
quite
often.

the
same
genre.
Performances
Pasupathy
has
delivered
a
highly
earnest
performance
as
Bhaskaran,
and
conveyed
the
dilemmas
of
his
character
with
the
right
balance
of
emotions.
Vidaarth
has
played
the
hopeless
cop
Gautham
to
near
perfection.
Lizzie
Antony
is
decent
as
Bhaskaran’s
wife
who
is
forced
to
become
her
husband’s
confidante
in
a
tricky
situation.
Lakshmi
Priyaa
Chandramouli
stands
out
as
Mercy’s
panic-striken
mother
Esther,
who
faces
the
unexpected
tragedy
all
