
Actor and producer Noah Wyle will receive the 2026 Television Showperson of the Year Award from the Publicists of the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG), the organization announced on Tuesday.
The Pitt star will receive the honor at the 63rd annual ICG Publicists Awards luncheon on March 13 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
According to the organization, the Television Showperson of the Year award “recognizes professional impact, artistic excellence and special spirit defined as showmanship.” Wyle serves as actor, co-writer, director and executive producer on the HBO series currently.
For his role on The Pitt, he won the top awards for lead male actor and drama series at the 2025 Emmy Awards, 2026 Golden Globes and 2026 Critics Choice Awards. He also received two 2026 Actors Awards (formerly SAG) nominations for his work on the show as well as the full cast honor.
For his iconic portrayal of Dr. John Carter on NBC’s ER, he earned five consecutive Emmy Award nominations and three Golden Globe nominations. During his time on the show, he became the show’s longest-serving cast member, appearing in 254 episodes.
His other credits include TV series like Pirates of Silicon Valley, The Librarian franchise, Falling Skies, and films like A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko and Enough.
Past recipients of the Television Showperson of the Year Award include Kathy Bates, Norman Lear, Quinta Brunson, Shonda Rhimes and Bob Hope.
