Thaai Kizhavi New Release Date: The release of the Tamil film Thaai Kizhavi, headlined by Radikaa Sarathkumar, has been pushed back by a week. The film was originally scheduled to arrive in theatres on February 20 but will now release on February 27. The postponement was announced recently, and on Sunday, the makers issued a statement explaining the reasons behind the decision.

In the statement, the makers said that due to the prevailing situation and the ambiguity surrounding films scheduled for release on February 20, they had decided to move the film to February 27. They added that the decision had not been easy, noting that they had firmly committed to releasing the film within February to honour agreements with their digital and satellite partners. The one-week postponement, they said, was made to stand by that commitment and deliver as promised.

Thaai Kizhavi: Cast And Technical Details

Thaai Kizhavi features Radikaa Sarathkumar in the lead role, supported by Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar and Raichal Rabecca, among others. The film is written and directed by Sivakumar Murugesan.

The project is produced under the banners of Passion Studios and Sivakarthikeyan Productions, with Sudhan Sundaram and Sivakarthikeyan serving as producers and Kalai Arasu as co-producer. The music has been composed by Nivas K Prasanna, while cinematography is handled by Vivek Vijayakumar. Editing duties have been carried out by San Lokesh, and production design is overseen by Ramu Thangaraj.

The sound department includes sound design by Suren G and S. Alagiakoothan, with Suren G also handling sound mixing. VFX work has been executed by Focus VFX under the supervision of V. Rajkumar. The film’s DI has been completed at Promo Works, with Adithya Krishnan credited as the colourist.

Additional crew members include prosthetic makeup artist Vineesh Vijayan, makeup by N. Chelladurai Alangudi, and costumes by R. Muruganantham. Stills are by Maniyan, while publicity design has been handled by Tuney John 24AM. Suresh Chandra serves as the PRO for the project. The music rights are held by Saregama India Limited, a part of the RPSG Group.

With the revised date now confirmed, Thaai Kizhavi is scheduled to release in theatres on February 27, unless there are further changes to the release plan.
