Two employees working at the bungalow, identified as Arumugam and Murali, were reportedly restrained with ropes before the crime took place. Both individuals have been taken in for questioning as part of the investigation.
Police are also looking into whether the murder could be connected to an earlier criminal case. In 2018, Suryanarayanan had been arrested in connection with the killing of Prabhakaran, who was said to have been in a relationship with Vishnu Priya.
