However, the unexpected delay in the release of the upcoming H Vinoth directorial has severely impacted the Kerala theatres, as most of the Malayalam releases ended up as major flops. Now, the releasing in the centers in the state will have to wait till April 2026 to have another set of promising releases, that might or might not repair this major damage.
Reportedly, things are quite similar in both the Telugu states and Karnataka, as Jana Nayagan was indeed the biggest expected release of 2026’s first quarter.
