Auntie Angelou Throws Granddaughter Azia a Spectacular 3rd Birthday Party

Party host extraordinaire, no one throws parties like my gorgeous and glamorous, Auntie Angelou!

In celebration of her beautiful granddaughter Azia’s 3rd birthday, her house in Manchester, was transformed into a pretty, pink Peppa Pig palace, with al fresco dining, attentive hired staff, and a magician (with a Britney mic no less), to entertain the kids.

Every detail was carefully considered by Angelou, with blankets of pink roses and wildflowers everywhere, shimmering birthday balloons inside and out of her house, a Peppa Pig backdrop for photos, light-up glasses the kids were obsessed with, washable themed tattoos, personalised shortbread biscuits, punnets of jellies, petit fours, scones and not forgetting flowing pink champagne in abundance for the adults! Pink in aid of Peppa was the name of the day, and it was joyful with a capital j!

Angelou had turned her downstairs into toy and games rooms and her kitchen housed a vast banquet of hot and cold delicacies we enjoyed all day.

As cheesy as it might sound, the most important ingredient when it comes to any celebration, is love and love really was everywhere.

Proud grandparents Angelou and Tim, and doting Mum of Azia, Jo, were the perfect hosts, and everyone in attendance radiated warmth and love for the whole family, and sweet birthday girl, Azia, of course. It was lovely to see our cousins and reconnect with old friends. We couldn’t be happier to live just over an hour or so away now from family, instead of the five hours when we were in Windsor.

Florence kept referring to Azia as her sister (they’re only five months apart) which touched my heart, especially as Florence won’t have the opportunity for a younger biological sister here with no more babies on the horizon!

Florence wore new princess wings and one of the gifts we gave Azia were the same wings so they can twin next time they meet!

What a glorious day! The weather was certainly on our side, and the sun shone; the bubbles bubbled, the wine flowed, the Mediterranean food was top-notch, and the Greek and Italian music transported us all to our homelands of Cyprus and Italy respectively!

It was the most magical party!
