In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit, Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari revealed if he made any changes in his performance following the shift from a show to a film.

Did the shift from a show format to a film change how you built his performance?

I did not make any major changes to my performance. I tried to keep it as natural as possible, just like it has always been. The moment we get into a situation, we start reacting as the character. If I tried to do something very different, it would change the character, and the audience might not accept that. Since people have been watching this character for years, I did not feel the need to alter it.

In hindsight, is there anything you would have done differently in the film?

No, I do not think so. There was no real scope to do something drastically different with the character. The situations themselves are different because of the real locations and the road-trip format. We have simply placed the same characters into those new situations. So I do not feel the need to change anything in hindsight.

Why should people watch Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain – The Film on ZEE5?

People should definitely watch the film because they have loved the show for years, but this time the situations are different. The story takes the characters on a national road trip where they face new and unexpected situations. There are fun villains, entertaining moments, and a fresh setup. At the same time, it still has the same humour and charm as the show. It is a light-hearted, entertaining film that will make you laugh and have a great time.
