Did Jason Sanjay Drop Father Vijay’s Initials From His Official Name? The actor-politician has been making headlines with his ugly divorce, lately. In her divorce petition, Thalapathy Vijay’s estranged wife Sangeetha has alleged that he has totally distanced himself from their family, owing to his extramarital affair with a leading actress. Later, their son Jason Sanjay confirmed family feud by unfollowing Vijay on social media.

Recently, several media reported that Thalapathy Vijay’s son has dropped his father’s initials from his official name. It was also reported that Jason Sanjay is now using the letter ‘S’ which stands for his mother Sangeetha, instead of the letter ‘V’, which represents his father, with his official name.

The reports on Jason Sanjay’s initial change circulated on social media faster than expected and everyone believed it immediately, considering the current state of Thalapathy Vijay’s family life. However, the Jana Nayagan star’s admirers and some neutral audiences now suggest that the reports on Sanjay’s initial change, are completely baseless.

Even though the industry insiders suggest that the star kid-turned-director has indeed made an initial change and is now using the name Jason Sanjay S, some other suggest that these reports are untrue. Most of them are pointing out that the Sanjay was not using any initials with his name as he entered the films, in the first place. They also claim that his official name is not Jason Sanjay V, but it is Jason Sanjay Joseph.

For the uninitiated, the TVK Chief’s full name is Joseph Vijay Chandrasekar. So, both his children were reportedly using his first name Joseph, as their surnames, and the letter J as their initials. Also, Sanjay never used any surname or initials ever since he kickstarted the works of his debut directorial, Sigma. So, currently there are no evidences to prove that Vijay’s son changed his initials, as a sign of disapproval towards his father’s choices.
