The Objective of the Game

Just like classic bingo, the goal is to mark off a row, column, diagonal, or even the entire card (blackout!).

Only instead of numbers, you’re checking boxes for things like:

• A goal scored
• A dramatic flop or fake injury
• Yellow or red card
• Fans waving flags
• A close-up of a passionate coach
• A crowd chant or wave

Because honestly…you’re definitely going to see most of these at least once.

Soccer Bingo Supplies Needed

To play Soccer Bingo, you’ll want:

• Bingo Cards (The file size is large, so sign up below, and I’ll email you the FREE cards)
• Markers: Mini pretzels, nuts, chocolate candies, popcorn, raisins, mini marshmallows, Skittles, coins, stickers, pom poms, or whatever you already have on hand (or are already snacking on)
• Clipboards or a firm surface: perfect for couches and living rooms.
• Prizes: (See ideas below!)

Optional twist: Slide the cards into a clear page protector and use a dry-erase marker. No losing pieces during an intense goal moment!

How to Play Soccer Bingo

1. Give each player one bingo card.

2. Hand out markers (or dry-erase markers if you’re using protectors).

3. Choose the winning pattern:

• 4-in-a-row
• Four corners
• X across the board
• Blackout (for serious competition!)

4. Watch the game and mark the spaces as you spot them.

5. The first person to complete the winning pattern calls out “BINGO!”

Or instead of saying “bingo,” you can spice it up with:

• “GOOOOAL!”
• “Red Card!”
• “Champions!”
• “Kickoff win!”

• Replay moments if needed: Pause or rewind to catch anything missed (especially those blink-and-you-miss-it goals).

• Assign a “Referee”: Have one person call out what shows up clearly on-screen to settle any disputes. (Because someone will definitely yell, “That didn’t count!”)

• Shout It Out Rule: If someone spots something, they must call it out so everyone can see it before marking.

• Team Up: Pair younger kids with adults or older siblings so everyone has a chance to mark squares correctly.
