Global Citizen is rallying a roster of boldfaced names to participate in a milestone summit.
The fifth installment of Global Citizen NOW, a gathering of leaders hailing from government, policy, advocacy, business, entertainment and philanthropy, is set to take place at New York’s Spring Studios on May 14.
Booked to participate are Global Citizen ambassadors Hugh Jackman, Rachel Brosnahan, Common and Adam Lambert along with Ayra Starr, Antigua and Barbuda prime minister H.E. Gaston Browne, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, Authentic Brands Group chairman and CEO Jamie Salter, Kat Graham, chef and restauranteur Marcus Samuelsson, Bridgewater Associates CEO Nir Bar Dea, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance CEO Dr. Sania Nishtar, Bezos Earth Fund president and CEO Tom Taylor, CBS host and anchor Vladimir Duthiers, Octopus Energy Generation CEO Zoisa North-Bond.
The new edition of Global Citizen NOW is being mounted to “drive action to expand access to education through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, improve food security and economic opportunity, expand access to electricity and cut emissions, and address global health and nutrition for the world’s underserved communities,” per the organization. Supported by Authentic Brands Group, Bridgewater Associates, Cisco, Delta Air Lines, IHC, MetLife, PayPal and P&G, the event will also see the Global Citizen Prize and Cisco Youth Leadership Award presented.

The summit was held last year in New York, Detroit, Michigan, Sevilla, Spain, Belém, Brazil and Johannesburg, South Africa. More participants for this year’s installment are expected. More details here.
