How Mia Found Her Peace
At first, Mia thought she didn’t have time for self-care. Her days were a blur of meetings, laundry, and helping her kids with homework. Every night, she would collapse into bed, exhausted and unfulfilled, telling herself she would “slow down tomorrow.”
Then one morning, she decided to wake up just fifteen minutes earlier. She made a cup of tea, sat by the window, and listened to the quiet. The next day, she added a short walk. By the end of the week, she had established a small daily ritual—sometimes reading a few pages, sometimes journaling, and sometimes just taking a few deep breaths before the day began.
Within a month, her energy felt lighter, her patience deeper, and her smile more genuine. The chaos of life hadn’t disappeared, but she finally felt present in it. Those few minutes each day had become her anchor, proving that caring for herself wasn’t selfish.
It was the key to showing up better for everyone she loved.

“I am thrilled with the family movie club. My younger kiddos can be involved, yet my older kids were engaged too. We easily put together the recipe for the movie Elemental, and it all felt like a cohesive evening. I love that it is all done for me…I have always wanted to put all of these types of activities together, but I can never find the time.” – Rachel E
