The Central Bureau Of Investigation team, that handles the Karur Stampede case, has rejected Thalapathy Vijay’s request to allow him 15 days time to appear for question. As per the reports, the team turned down Vijay’s request, but there is a small relief for the actor-politician. Instead of allowing him 15 days of time, the team has given him 5 days time, to appear for questioning.
As reported earlier, the TVK Chief had also requested the team to shift the questioning to Chennai or any nearby areas, instead of conducting it at the CBI Headquarters in New Delhi. Thalapathy Vijay asked for this change, as the travelling might impact his election campaign schedules. However, the Karur stampede investigation team is yet to consider the actor’s request. A major update on the same is expected to be out soon.
