Kohrra Season 2 On Netflix| Pooja Bhamrrah Says Anil Kapoor Messaged Praising Her Work| Who Is Pooja Bhamrrah, Kohrra 2 Actress Who Played Preet

Kohrra season 2: There are certain talents who you immediately recognise with their expressions and work. As Netflix released the second season of Mona Singh and Barun Sobti-starrer Kohrra, the web series immediately captured the attention of the audience. Every artist associated with the crime thriller is earning rave reviews for his/her performance. This is indeed a team work.

My eyes remained fixated on Pooja Bhamrrah, who played Preet Bajwa in Kohrra – Season 2 on Netflix. The new season deepened the show’s emotionally charged setting, and Pooja’s role was crucial to the unfolding story. Guess what? My beloved mumma watched the entire web series at one go, even before I could finish it. That’s the power of storytelling.

Before joining Kohrra Season 2, Pooja built a steady screen presence across films and shows like Crew, The Zoya Factor, The Fame Game, Broken But Beautiful and Fanney Khan. It’s her dedication that makes her a standout artist.

As Pooja interacted with Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit post the success of Kohrra 2, she revealed how she prepped up for her role, sharing how she and Rannvijay Singh managed to perform their scenes beautifully.

Success tastes like honey, and Pooja is on cloud nine as she received a message from Anil Kapoor, who is the producer of her hit film Crew. From modelling, beauty pageants, to creating ripples on the screen, Pooja’s journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

Here are excerpts from the interview

Ques 1- How do you feel post the success of Kohrra season 2? Did you feel pressured due to expectations that the web series carried before the release?

People expected a lot from the second season. And I’m so glad that we have surpassed those expectations because season one was the first outing of the IP. So, word of mouth took a little time. But then when people realized what Korra is about, and when it was announced that Kohrra 2 is coming out, the expectations were much, much higher. I’m not sure if Sudeep sir felt the pressure at all. I’m just so glad to be a part of this. I’m feeling really lucky to be a part of Kohrra season 2.

Ques 2- What was your biggest takeaway as an artist while you were playing the character of Preet?

My biggest takeaway from this series is something very holistic, which is, “Bhai tumhare haath mein kuch nahi hai. Bilkul. Kuch nahi hai tumhare haath mein.”
It is all, you know, you may be the best of the artists. You may be the best at your work. Agar kismat aapka saath nahi deri hai na, jitna marzi ghis log, nahi hoga.
But if you are putting in the hard work, you’re doing what needs to be done, you’re just putting your head down and just being at it, aur phir kismat bhi agar aapka saath de rahi hai, then that is magical. That has been my biggest takeaway and I think it’s a very difficult realization, also because we as human beings want to control everything, right?

I realized that, boss, jo likha hota wo aata hi hai. You can’t even imagine ke wo kahan se aayega. But what’s yours will come to you.

Ques 3- How do you reflect on the beautiful journey of Kohrra season 2?

I put in a lot of effort for the show, and I am excited that it yielded great results. Anil Kapoor sir posted about the show, and I texted him back saying, “Sir, I can’t believe this.” And then he texted me back saying, “You were lovely in Crew as well.”

And I was like, “Sir, you recognized me in the crew?” I mean, when you get such kind of appreciation from legends like Anil Kapoor, what more do you want? I couldn’t sleep last night. I want you to soak up the moment and enjoy every moment.

Kohrra season 2 is available for streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned for the second part of the interview.
