As you may remember, the Muthu Engira Kaattaan was official launched by the streaming giant, during its official announcement of the South slate of original for 2026.
Now, the recently released Muthu Engira Kaattaan teaser has confirmed that the web series will premiere on the platform, in March 2026. The Vijay Sethupathi starrer will be available for streaming on Jio Hotstar from March 27, 2026, midnight. As per the reports, M Manikandan directorial will get released in seven languages, including the Tamil original, along with Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali.

Vijay Sethupathi appears as the titular character Kaattaan in the web series, which features Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, Vadivel Murugan, Risha Jacobs, VJ Paaru, Kalaivani Bhaskar, Muthukumar, and others in the pivotal roles.
