Parasakthi Box Office Final Collection: Sivakarthikeyan teamed up with director with director Sudha Kongara, for the recently released period political film. Parasakthi, which hit the theatres on January 10, 2026, has already completed its lifetime run at the theatres. As per the reports, the Sivakarthikeyan has now ended up as an underperformer at the box office, while considering the film’s massive budget.

Earlier, the makers of Parasakthi had officially announced that the Sudha Kongara directorial crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, in just 11 days. However, despite performing well at the box office during its initial days, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer has not succeeded in doing justice to its massive budget with its global earnings.

However, according to the recent X post by South India box office, Parasakthi has just made a total gross collection of ₹87.5 crore at the worldwide box office. The movie, which stars Jayam Ravi aka Ravi Mohan as the lead antagonist, collected around ₹57.5 crore from the Tamil Nadu box office, alone. The Karnataka collection stands at ₹4.80 crore, while the Kerala and rest of India collections have touched ₹1.5 crore and ₹0.90 crore, respectively.

Parasakthi Plot, Cast And Crew

The period political drama film which is set against the backdrop of the Madras city of 1965, revolves around the movement against the Hindi imposition in the state. Thiru, a ruthless officer turns up to track down the rebels in the state. Chezhian and his brother Chinna Durai, who have drastically different personalities, are dragged into this battle of justice. Soon, Chezhian, a peaceful man, is forced to abandon his nature to protect his people.

Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan (Jayam Ravi), Sreeleela, and Atharvaa essay the key roles in Parasakthi. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs and the original score for the Sudha Kongara film. Ravi K Chandran is the director of photography. Sathish Surya handles the editing. Parasakthi is produced by Dawn Pictures, and distributed by Red Giant Movies.
