Psycho Saiyaan Star Anud Singh Dhaka Reveals What Truly Drew Him To The Thriller: ‘It’s Unpredictable….’

Anud Singh Dhaka is steadily carving a space for himself with diverse and layered characters. From Lafangey to Janhit Mein Jaari and Taj Mahal 1989, the actor has shown that he is not afraid to experiment. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his new web series Psycho Saiyaan, where he plays the lead alongside Tejasswi Prakash and Ravi Kishan. The series is ready to stream on February 25. The recently released trailer has already grabbed attention and is receiving a positive response from viewers.

Talking about what struck him the most when he first read the script, Anud says it was the unpredictability of the story. “Psycho Saiyaan is one of those projects where it keeps you guessing. It keeps you on the edge. Even when you’re reading the script, you realise that you make certain assumptions about the story and it fails you in a beautiful way,” he shares.

For Anud, it wasn’t just one element that worked. It was everything put together. “It’s so unpredictable, and it becomes bloody good. So as a show, everything stood out. The story, the character, the theme, the setting,” he explains honestly.

What made the project even more special for him was the location. The series is set in Ujjain and Bhopal – cities that are deeply personal to him. “Bhopal is where I grew up. I did my schooling. I still have a house there. Bhopal is where I belong,” he says with pride.

Being able to shoot a story that feels rooted and real, in a place that feels like home, added emotional value to the project. “To get closer to home, to tell a story like this, which is so rooted, which is so honest, and yet so bizarre and so exceptionally unpredictable – that really stood out for me,” he adds.

With a gripping theme, a strong cast, and Anud leading the narrative, Psycho Saiyaan promises to be an intense watch. If the trailer is anything to go by, this could be one of the most talked-about web series of the season.
