This week, I’m thankful for…
- Spontaneous fun. Planned traditions are important. Family dinners are too. But there’s something about having a moment together, giggling out of the blue. The kids got me to throw a football around recently. Before I knew it, we were all pro athletes showing off our best moves. (One of the things I love most about kids is the reminder that life doesn’t have to be so serious.)
- A physical challenge. I ran a 10K last weekend. It was great until the last mile, when you had to climb (by far) the biggest hill I’ve ever run. The stranger running next to me cursed all the way up 😂. But we both survived and got stronger for it.
- This week’s challenge. I’ve been making more time for reading and journaling as my creative activity.
